Clinical Registries Workshop PDF Print E-mail

ANZICS invites you to attend the pre-Conference Clinical Registries Workshop.

Held immediately prior to the SQAO Conference and at the same location, this meeting will bring together Registries representatives and government officials, policy makers and accreditors.  It is an opportunity to discuss priorties, strategy and operations in a relaxed, informal environment.  We encourage anyone with an interest in Clincial Registries and their futures to attend these focused and direct discussions.

Anticipated outcomes of the meeting include generating action plans and timelines for improving issues associated with ethics, privacy and consent, and developing data linkage and information availability between registries.

We also strongly recommend to you the following meetings immediately following the Clinical Registries Workshop:

  • Inaugural CTG Winter Research Forum, taking place on August 12th and 13th.  The primary aims of the Forum are to provide an informal opportunity for investigators to gain early advice and feedback on research proposals, to explore issues relevant to study design and conduct in ANZ ICUs and to foster a collaborative approach to study development within the CTG.

We value your contribution and attendance at these key discussions that will promote excellence in intensive care medicine in Australia and New Zealand.
